Mary Campbell has been breeding, showing, training riders and horses for more than 30 years. She earned her degree in horse management from the University of Minnesota in 1975 and began training horses professionally in 1976. Mary started out caring for, training and showing the horses of Merkley Arabians in Pocatello, Idaho. From there she moved on to become an assistant trainer and subsequently, manager/trainer for J-Kay Arabians where she became skilled in breeding management, colt starting and marketing. In 1988, Mary started Mary Campbell Training Center in Las Vegas. She continued to manage all activities related to the 25 horses in her barn and participated in showing through the national level.

In 1997, Mary moved to Fable Arabians in Tucson, where she managed the operation of all aspects of the farm. After leaving Fable in 2002, Mary Campbell Training Center was re-established at Valle Verde Arabians in Tucson where Mary provided training of both horses and riders. Additionally, she provided breeding management services for her clients as well as many other services.

As of November 1, 2016, Mary Campbell Training Center relocated to the prestigious Milagro Boarding Stables located on the east side of Tucson. Mary’s expertise is now being utilized in the center of the show ring as a licensed judge. Mary currently lives with her black and tan Jack Russell terrier named Roo.
